Debby Webb
Debby Webb is obviously drawn to church work—she has done it for three different denominations! She was a church secretary in United Methodist, Lutheran, and Southern Baptist churches before settling in the former Sylacauga District office, and is now hard at work for the Southeast District of the conference.
Debby spends much of her time helping churches solve paperwork problems. She doesn’t mind that at all—Debby thinks working with clergy and laity in the North Alabama Conference is great! She’s an active member of Sylacauga First UMC.
A native of Baton Rouge, Debby attended Auburn University and stays active by serving as secretary of the Gamma Phi Beta house corporation board. She fills her spare time with her family—husband Alton, son Steven, daughter and son-in-law Kari and Don Buckindail, and most importantly grandkids Anna, Alex, Lynsey and Zach. She also likes to read and visit Orange Beach.
