The Annual Conference offering this year goes to support Mission2Gather. The offering will be collected Friday night at the Ordination service, but you can contribute at any time during annual conference by giving your offering to one our ushers (who will be easily identifiable in their vests). This year our ushers are being trained to assist those with disabilities. If you need any assistance, please let our ushers know.

I hope that you will take time to prayerfully read the reports in the PreConference Book. In most instances, the reports are included on our consent agenda (see page 61 for more details) and will not be specifically addressed during the conference.

We are excited to be back at Birmingham-Southern College this year! The Annual Conference planning team is thankful to the pastors and staffs of ClearBranch and Asbury for hosting us while we’ve been “away.” We are also very thankful for Laura Sisson and the staff at Birmingham-Southern for their hospitality this year and in years past.

I wish to thank all of you for the time and effort you are giving to Annual Conference. I look forward to worshipping and working with you this year. If I can be of any service to you before, during or after Conference, please feel free to contact me at (205) 226-7960 or at sclontz@northalabamaumc.org.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters.
