AC09 Ordination Service Clergy Processional Instructions

All Deacons and Elders in Full Connection are asked to participate in the clergy processional for the ordination service. The service will be on Friday, June 5, at 7 p.m. at ClearBranch UMC. Here are the instructions:

  1. Deacons and elders will robe in black with red stole.
     
  2. General robing rooms will be in the children's wing, across the covered walkway from the worship center and adjacent to the playground (ordinands and cabinet will robe in the main building).
     
  3. There will be processional lines forming at three entrance doors to the worship center. The one in the center (by the cafe) is reserved for acolytes, bishops, ordinands, cabinet, and new retirees who will be placing stoles on ordinands. All other deacons and elders will enter using one of the other two entrances.
     
  4. Clergy with last names beginning with A-G are asked to form the line at the left-most entrance door. Clergy with last names beginning with H-Z are asked to form the line at the right-most entrance door. Processional marshals will direct you to your seats. The processional will be single file.
     
  5. Please be robed and in place for the processional by 6:40 p.m.
