AC09 Registration

NOTE: PreConference books will be mailed to all clergy and lay members of Annual Conference in mid-April.

IMPORTANT: If you have no corrections to your personal information and do not want to order Meals, purchase Annual Conference items or request childcare you do not have to take any action.
Just be sure to bring your nametag, attendance tabs, and PreConference Book with you to ClearBranch on June 5.


Express Registration
You will need to take action prior to Annual Conference

  1. to correct any personal information (see card included with your PreConference book mailing and make sure all information is still correct)
  2. to purchase meal tickets for meals served at ClearBranch UMC during Annual Conference or to purchase other Annual Confernece items such as concert tickets, t-shirts and journals.

Benefits of Express Registration
No lines. No waiting at the opening of Annual Conference.
When you pre-register by May 20, 2009 you will receive your meal tickets and corrected name badge in the mail prior to Annual Conference. So on the first day of Annual Conference all you have to do is go to Bag Pickup Table and receive your bag. The bag will have your name badge holder and other Conference materials.


Express Registration Options
1.) Online before May 20, 2009

  • Go to www.northalabamaumc.org/AC09
  • On that page click the orange “Register for this Event” button
  • Fill out the online registration form with your correct personal information
  • Select the meals, and other Annual Confernece items you wish to purchase
  • Pay for your purchases online using your credit card, debit card or paypal account OR select the Pay Later option and mail a check in for your meals by May 20, 2009. (see address below.) NOTE: Your online meal reservations are not complete until your payment is received.

2.) By Mail before May 20, 2009

  • See the card included in PreConference book mailing you will receive in late April and correct any incorrect personal information
  • Indicate which meals you want to reserve by marking them on that card.
  • Make check payable to: North Alabama Conference
  • Mail your information card and check by May 20, 2009 to:

At-Conference Registration
During Annual Conference the registration team will be available at task specific tables to help you with your Name tags and Meal tickets. The team will also be there to assist those people who need to be added to the Annual Conference membership list (such as alternate lay members replacing their charge’s lay member or a lay member whose church failed to report their local church officers.) Look for the signs above each registration table to guide you.
