Happy New Year!

I pray that each of you had a great and blessed holiday season, and that as we begin the new year we will be able to keep all our resolutions.

I also pray that one of our resolutions is to be more intentional about doing what God wants us to in our life.

My prayer also is that we as United Methodist Christians in the North Alabama Conference and across this Great Church “grow into who God wants us to be”.  To help this process the Lay Ministry Team has planned a great opportunity for each of us learn more about who we are as United Methodists.

The event is
Saturday January 5, 2008
Clearbranch UMC
9:00 am - 12:00 noon

The event is planned for both clergy and lay and should be a great opportunity for each of us to begin the year Celebrating who we are and resolving to be the best we can be in 2008. You will leave with the information you derive plus a resource guide to use in your local church to lead a study on United Methodist Beliefs

There is no pre-registration or charge.  I look forward to being with you on Saturday.
