Pull up a rocker with us on the front porch at the Hinton Rural Life Center overlooking Lake Chatuge for some refreshing mountain air, and join us for a fun-filled, labor-free, Labor Day weekend in the beautiful mountains of Hayesville, North Carolina.

A warm welcome awaits you and your family at the Hinton Center, a Christian retreat and conference center that builds community through sacred space for retreat, reflection, and renewal. Through our ministry of hospitality, this family weekend will provide mothers, fathers, children, grandmothers, grandfathers, and/or grandchildren with quality time amidst God's creation for fellowship, outdoor fun, relaxation, and reconnecting faith.

We will kick off the weekend with a good 'ole, summertime ice cream sundae get-together on Friday night. We will greet Saturday with opportunities for light hiking through the hills of Hayesville, tubing along Fire's Creek, and swimming in Lake Chatuge. We will round out Saturday evening by the lakeside for a bonfire and s'mores. Throughout the weekend, we will provide occasions for devotional reflection and will end the weekend on Sunday morning with inspirational, family-friendly worship.
