Groundbreaking for Promise Home

Groundbreaking celebration for the construction of a new Promise Home (formerly known as UMRA) will take place on the back portion of Bluff Park United Methodist Church. Promise Homes is an Advance Special agency of the North Alabama Conference for adults with intellectural disability and developmental challenges. The facility will house 6 residents and will be staffed and managed by Promise Homes. This ministry will be a tremendous blessing for families who are seeking a safe and loving home for their loved ones. This is the first time that Promise Homes has had a new house built especially for their clientele.
The groundbreaking will be followed by dinner at 5 p.m. and a concert featuring The Miracles from The Baddour Center in Senatobia, Mississippi at 6 p.m.
