Dear Clergy Spouses,

I do hope you will plan now to come to the Babies First Benefit Luncheon at Asbury UMC in Madison, AL. Many of you and your friends came to the luncheon last year in Birmingham and helped us raise $2,000 for Babies First.

Babies First is a ministry of the United Methodist Children's Home. It is a residential program in Birmingham for young girls and their babies. These young moms make the decision to raise their babies but need help and Christian guidance to insure a healthy, safe start in life. Mothers and babies are among God's greatest gifts. Unfortunately in our state, too many young girls become Mothers too soon.

Please send a check for $15 to your District Superintendent's spouse (address below) by March 19 for each reservation. She will not send a ticket back to you, but there will be a name tag at the door on March 27, the day of the luncheon, indicating you have paid.

It would be wonderful if you would share this information with friends, family, teenagers and other members of your church whom you know would like to attend. Click the link below to download a colorful flier you can share. (It's in PDF format.)

We are hoping to be able to donate $7 of every ticket purchased to Babies First. Please join us and help make this happen.
