The Lewis Center for Church Leadership of Wesley Theological Seminary has selected 20 outstanding young clergy to participate in the 2012-2013 Lewis Fellows program. The North Alabama Conference is pleased to announce the development and training of our first Emotional and Spiritual Care Team (Care Team). This team will work in conjunction with the Conference Disaster Response Program in providing much-needed emotional and spiritual care during and after a disaster. This is a class which helps first time mission team leaders before their first mission trip. This is a requirement to lead a UMVIM team. Potential future team leaders are also encouraged to attend. This class mostly focuses on international mission trip training. This will cover how to organize a mission trip and cross cultural sensitivity.
