Want to be trained in Early Response and save the $40 that usually comes with the training? Now's your chance! Rev. Matt Lacey will be leading an ERT Training at the United Methodist Center in Birmingham, Alabama, on Saturday, November 5, from 9am - 5pm, but space is limited to 30 people and registration is required. Lunch will be provided and the $40 registration cost is waived for this event. However, if your background check is not up-to-date, you will need to submit $12 for your background consent (please contact Nacole Hillman at nhillman@northalabamaumc.org to see if yours is current). Register online now. Contact Rev. Matt Lacey for more information at mlacey@northalabamaumc.org.
We're now scheduling teams for the fall and into 2012 to serve and help rebuild North Alabama. All that is required is to be willing and able! For more information, go to www.rebuildnorthalabama.org and click on "Register Your Team." There, you'll find our Guidebook, which will go into detail about areas that need teams and how to schedule your team, as well as what to expect in Alabama. If you have more questions, jot them down, and the Guidebook will tell you who to contact! We'd love to have you visit us in North Alabama and serve alongside you!

Have you participated in a Disaster Response or Disaster Recovery trip to North Alabama? Do you have photos or stories that you would like to share? Email Emily Nelms at enelms@northalabamaumc.org to let her know when you visited and how many photos you have to share, as well as what your story is (please notify before sending, as you might end up in a Spam filter if you send a large file!).
