CORE is creating opportunities for renewing effective churches with dynamic ministry strategies. Move beyond church diagnosis and claim your church's missional strategy for making and growing new disciples.

Confirmation Retreat: "5 to Thrive"

Date; January 29-30, 2010

Place: Camp Sumantanga

All children or teenagers who are participating in your confirmation program are welcome to attend. Last year nearly 100 confirmands had an exceptional experience that included great speakers, quality musicians, reflective time, engaging discussion, really messy games, and powerful worship. Starting and Growing Successful Small Group Ministries

Date; February 6, 2010

Cost; $15.00 per person. If your church takes five or more persons to the training, the District will give the church $25.00 towards the cost. Don't forget to take the District up on our promise. Email Debby Webb if you have five or more attending from your church: debby@southeastdistrictumc.org

Spanish-English Angel Tree Event

Saturday, December 12, some 220 persons participated in a bi-lingual “Angel Tree” service at New Home United Methodist Church. Others who could not attend had also helped prepare the Christmas gifts for children of some 54 families who were unemployed. Read more...
