Alex City First UMC Confirmation Year Begins

First United Methodist in Alex City is thrilled to begin another Confirmation year! The class of twenty children has come together to learn and grow in our faith. Beginning in September, the families of all of the Confirmands enjoyed an afternoon of swimming and fellowship. We’re looking forward to our fall retreat to the Dude Ranch in Mentone, AL.

As we learn about our Methodist heritage, we’ll travel north to attend services at the Jewish Synagogue, Temple Beth-El and then on to the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament. We are so thankful for the opportunity to work with these children!
