Mitchell Springs UMC Fellowship Day

Mitchell Springs UMC in Lanett, Alabama, enjoyed a day of fellowship and fun at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, Georgia.

Pastor Julia Marbury and members of the congregation enjoyed viewing different underwater creatures and learning of how they live together in harmony. It was an opportunity to use the fish as examples of how God want us as human beings to live in the same environment and respect each other differences. Although we are not the same size, shape, or color, we are all God’s creation. The outing reiterated the fact that no matter how large or how small one may be God takes care of all of us.
