The Southeast District welcomes pastors newly assigned to churches in the District. These pastors were appointed by Bishop William H. Willimon at the 2012 Annual Conference of the North Alabama Conference. It is our prayer that their ministry in the newly assigned churches will bear much fruit for the kingdom of our Lord.

On July 7, 2012, the Southeast District Program and Planning Leadership Team and the United Methodist Women of the Southeast District will welcome the pastors and their families as they transition to new places of ministry. The Welcome brunch will be held at Trinity UMC in Alexander City.

District Superintendent Stryker expressed excitement in the opportunity to work with these pastors that are moving into new places of ministry. He also expressed appreciation for the pastors that continuing in their previous assignments.

We pray God’s blessing upon those leaving the Southeast District to serve in other districts in North Alabama and upon those persons retiring from active ministry. Their work among us has been a blessing.

On "Moving Day," June 13th, the new pastors officially took over the pastoral leadership responsibilities at their assigned locations.
