This year’s theme was, “Claiming Hope: A Vision For Youth and Youth Ministry.” It was a day of praise and worship, learning, and fun for all age group. Featured workshops:
· “The Mouse Pad” Ages 3, 4, 5
· “Eyes on the Prize” Ages 6, 7, 8
· “Vision Seekers” Upper Elementary
· “Power Points” Middle School & High School
· “Programs of Promise” Church leaders and other adults
· “Reaching the Wired Generation” Youth Ministry Leaders

The afternoon session was geared for the youth to showcase their talents, Regeneration Praise Dance Team from our group performed. The Berean Community Drumline from Berean Baptist Church Brooklyn, New York was the highlight of the afternoon. It was featured as a way of doing youth ministry outside the box. Our young people and adults were inspired and are looking forward to next year’s event. |
