Directions:
Alabama Interstate 20 coming from Birmingham, take the Lincoln Exit at Alabama Highway 77, go South, to the City of Talladega, follow Alabama Highway 77 South past the intersection of Alabama Highway 34 and Alabama Highway 77, you will pass a Chevron Service Station on your left, the V. F. W. on your right, and Burlison's Grocery on your left turn left onto Peters Road, (from Highway 34 to Peters Road is about 4/10 of a mile). You will go about 2/10 of a mile, and come to a stop sign at Jackson Trace Road, turn right. Follow Jackson Trace Road for about 1 and 3/10 mile until you get to Broadway Avenue, turn left onto Broadway Avenue. Follow Broadway Avenue about 7/10 of a mile, until you pass the National Guard Armory, Liberty Church, then turn left, go behind the Fire Station, and a baseball field, this will carry you to Ward Avenue. Follow Ward Avenue until the road forks, about 6/10 of a mile, take to the right onto Allen Street. Follow Allen Street until you come to Nimitz Avenue about 4/10 of a mile. At the stop sign look to your left, and Clare Purcell United Methodist Church will be on the corner of Allen Street and Nimitz Avenue.
From Oxford, take highway 21 which will go through the city of Munford. When you get into the city of Talladega, and when you see the Talladega Welcoming Sign, look to your right for the street sign that will be Brecon Access Road. Turn onto Brecon Access Road, you will travel about 1.2 miles and you will come to a stop sign. Go straight, this will be Leathy Circle, less than a block, turn onto Nimitz Avenue, which will be on your right. Follow Nimitz Avenue 0.6 miles, until you see Clare Purcell UMC on your right.
