How Churches Can Help...In the Least Way Possible

How do churches truly help with outreach ministry?  When does "helping" hurt?  This video is a reflection about how churches should really listen to our mission and ministry partners communal contexts, as well as listening to their true outreach needs, and not just what we want to get rid of, or out of our house or church.

Thank you for this video. It reminds me that we all too often give to those in need our castoffs, our thouroughly worn, our junk. Why cant we give the very best we have to offer? Is this only reserved for us? Are the poor deserving of a can of Leseur peas or the bargain brand? What if we began listening to what those in need really need from us? Perhaps its just our time, our friendship, our love and concern.
