This blog contains the draft of a petition for General Conference. After listening to churches and observing the impact of the economic crisis, I believe it is time to return to biblical stewardship principles in order to fund our United Methodist ministries.

I will appreciate your comments and endorsement of delegates at Annual Conference 2011.

This article reflects on the need to move from funding the general funds of the United Methodist Church based on the needs of institution, to a stewardship process of local congregations giving according to the financial blessings received each month.
